Note From The Designer
When designing the multitude of plans within
this book, the main objective was providing
the potential home builder with economical
and functional designs to suit a variety of
conditions. In this issue of The National
Home Planner you will find simple starter
homes designed for standard building lots to
more luxurious homes for urban or rural living.
While perusing these plans, the most important aspect to
consider is the lifestyle in which your family lives. This
book provides a ''walk-through analysis chart'' which
should be examined thoroughly before choosing your plan.
Remember to focus on the floor layout and try to avoid a
attractive exteriors that are bound to catch your eye.
Once you have decided on the most functional floor plan
for your family's needs, the exterior can always be
re-designed as outlined in our ''Modified Stock Plan''
service.
Many people have the misconception that the living room
must face a street or at least the front of the house. This
would be a poor plan selection if you have a spectacular
view or the sun sets at the rear of the house.
Study each plan carefully and make sure it is functional,
meets all your requirements and has attractive curb appeal
should you be faced with selling your home sometime in
the future.
Building a home can be one of the most rewarding or
frustrating experiences of your life....most of us do this
once. We are here to make recommendations and assist
you in any way we can. Let's get it right the first time
around. Good luck in selecting the home of your dreams.
