About the Author
Ray Guy, 44, was born and grew up at Arnold's Cove, Placentia
Bay, and after two years at Memorial University followed by a three-year journalism course at the Ryerson Institute, Toronto, became a
newspaper reporter in St. John's in 1963.
He has written many articles and columns for newspapers and magazines at home and abroad and has some experience in radio and TV broadcasting. He is married with two children, the elder being the victim of this book.
