The trend, lately, has been of newer Newfoundland artists taking old Newfoundland songs and making them the contemporary gems that we know today.
On Our Songs: Vol. 2 , we have re-recorded songs in much the same way that they would have been originally recorded, with a minimum of instrumentation and concentrating on the vocal performance. We have included a few newer songs that have become standards, written or adapted by Newfoundlanders.
This is the second volume in the series that we have released. The collection gathered together here represents a true cross section of the Newfoundland and Labrador songs that we cherish, sung by some of the best artists in Newfoundland & Labrador today.
