About the Artist...
A childhood spent in the small Newfoundland town of Twillingate must seem another lifetime away for Dion Todd. From these rural origins, Dion has matured into a sophisticated and multi-faceted musical talent. That is evidenced by his compelling debut album. The product of numerous Juno and even Grammy nominated producers and engineers, Dion's debut album is a collection of 13 infectious pop songs with multi hit single potential (12 of which were self-penned).

The first single from Dion's debut album leaves nothing to chance. A remake of Cory Harts 1985 mega hit "Never Surrender", this dance-pop ballad features Dion's soulful vocals neatly complemented with an infectious melody. Dion's commercial potential has already been demonstrated by his two earlier singles, "Maybe" and "Magic." Each appeared on multi-platinum selling compilations and hit the Top 10 on Canadian Dance CANCON charts. The anthemic "Magic" was produced by Brad Daymond (Love Inc.) and Alex Greggs ('N Sync), and earned Dion an East Coast Music Award nomination. It was chosen as the theme song for the Miss Italia International Pageant, and was also featured in a Molson Center Soiree du Hockey TV commercial in Quebec.

More recently (2004), Dion released a dance remix of "In Another Lifetime" which received radio play on top CHR stations and charted on numerous dance charts across the country. Dion has also received two 2005 ECMA nominations (East Coast Music Awards) for Urban Recording of the Year.
