Owen Russell
Owen Russell was born, grew up and attended school in Bonavista, Newfoundland. In 1984 he graduated from Cabot Collegiate and after leaving school, worked away for several years, before returning in 1990 to study surveying at Cabot College in St. Johns. In 1993 he earned a diploma in Surveying Engineering Technology and went on to work on some of the bigger projects in the province including Hibernia, Terra Nova and Voiseys Bay. Owen currently resides in Stephenville, Newfoundland where he makes his home with wife Pauline Duffy and their two children, Aaron and Stephanie.
Owen Russell promotes the natural beauty that is Newfoundland and Labrador in his photography.
The products featured products below are constructed using acid free paper laminated between two panes of glass. The edge of the glass is wrapped with a single piece of copper foil, carefully folded to form mitered corners. The foil is soldered and treated with patina, for a beautiful rustic finish. The process, similar to that used in stained glass, creates an air tight seal, protecting the photograph for years to come.
