Bakeapple Cream Puffs
Bakeapple Thimble Cookies Cream together ½ cup butter and ¼ cup sugar. Add 1 well beaten egg yolk and 2 tsp lemon juice. Beat well, add 1 cup flour. Combine until well blended Shape dough into balls about I inch in diameter. Dip ball in one slightly beaten egg white and roll in chopped walnuts. Place on greased cookie sheet. Make fairly deep indentation in center of each cookie. Bake for 5 min. and then quickly indent the center a second time. Bake for another 10 12 min. and fill cookies with Bakeapple Jam.
