Twackwear is an exciting product that is designed to preserve the heritage of our unique and interesting Newfoundland language.
The Newfoundland language grew out of our Irish, English, French and Portugese heritage. Words were "invented" to describe and cope with the conditions and lifestyles our ancestors met in Newfoundland. These words while not used so much these days can still say so much.
It’s time to take these words out of the museum,
Throw them on, and impress people with your knowledge.
