Book Description Twenty Five Years Later by Kelvin Kelleher is a work of fiction set in Springdale and extends as far as North West River in Labrador. The main plot revolves around a young man who, after learning that he was adopted, sets out to find his biological father for personal and medical reasons. The main character, now happily married, is confronted by questions from his past. The sub plot includes romance and a search and rescue operation that turns sour. There is more suspense when he encounters bad weather in his recently purchased aircraft while enroute from Goose Bay to Springdale. This story takes the reader back to the mid nineteen sixties. About the Author Kelvin Kelleher was born in St John’s, NL. He received his Masters Diploma in Educational Administration from Memorial University of Newfoundland. He also served as a Canadian Ranger and taught the Federal Firearms/Hunter Safety program for several years. As a teacher and administrator his teaching career spanned thirty years giving him the opportunity to travel his home province of Newfoundland and Labrador extensively. He grew up in Sibley’s Cove, Trinity Bay but now resides in Springdale. His passion for flying, sports and many outdoor activities led him to write this intriguing novel. | |
