About the Author
Joan Over was born in St. John’s. She moved to Ontario to complete her university education, then managed and edited a community newspaper, researched and edited law books and operated an editorial and design business, all the while being an avid cook and food enthusiast. She now lives in Shoal Harbour, Newfoundland, where she writes her weekly food column, In Joan’s Kitchen. Joan Over’s previous cookbooks include For the Love of Cod and Soup du Journal.
