Before and during the publication of four books chronicling South Coast sea stories and tragedies, Robert C. Parsons wrote several articles and stories on his home town Grand Bank. Several of these are presented in Vignettes of a Small Town.
In addition, Vignettes of a Small Town has excerpts from other writers' works, all of which make for captivating book - an anthology which has something for everyone: New tales of shipwrecks, old stories of by-gone era, quaint customs, unique landmarks centring around one of Newfoundland's most interesting outports, Grand Bank.
