About the Author
Christopher Pratt is one of Canada's most prominent painters and printmakers. Throughout his career, he has received many honours including being named a Companion of the Order of Canada. Pratt has also been the recipient of several honourary doctoral degrees. Pratt designed the Provincial Flag of Newfoundland and Labrador, which has become a respected symbol of the Province's past, present and future. The ideas that inspire his visual art also find expression through his poetry and prose. A Painter's Poems is his fifth book.
