Doyle Ltd. is delighted that the demand for copies of our Newfoundland Song Book continues, as this is proof to us that our efforts over the years - since 1927 in fact - have not been in vain and that our endeavours to preserve our culture through our Songs and Poetry are paying dividends. We hear of more and more participation by Newfoundland school children in the many music festivals around the Province and it is gratifying to know that interest in various classifications of Newfoundland Folk Music is on the increase.
It gives us double pleasure therefore to present now our FIFTH EDITION of the Gerald S. Doyle Song Book; firstly, for the reason stated above and particularly in view of the very popular demand for the tens of thousands of copies of the Fourth Edition, produced for Newfoundland's 'Come Home Year' in 1966 and long since fully distributed.
