About the Author Felix Perry is the great, great grandson of David Dobbin. In keeping with the family's tradition, he spent many years working on the Canadian Coast Guard's icebreakers and retired from the Department of National Defence Hydrographic Services Office after 25 years of service. In recent years, Felix has taken up sailing, continuing to demonstrate his love of the sea. He lives in Nova Scotia.
