Book Description A clean-up project, at Nana and Poppy's house, leads Allie to visit Robin Hood Bay. She is troubled by the seemingly endless piles of garbage dumped there. Allie challenges herself to "think green" and becomes active in a campaign to convince others that reducing garbage and recycling are powerful ways to care for our planet Earth. Hazelwood Elementary School Community have created colourful, hooked rug images of the natural beauty they discovered along St. John's walking trails. About the Authors Lori Lane live in St. John's with her family; Aprille, William, Patrick and Ick, the cat, and still enjoys knitting, sewing and quilting. Lori is a grade one teacher at Hazelwood Elementary. Kathy Winsor lives in St. John's with her son, Benjamin. As a primary teacher she enjoys writing stories or poems to enhance lessons.
