    About the Author

    The author, Kirk R. Butt, was born and raised in Robinsons, Bay St. George. Following his graduation from E.A. Butler Memorial High School in 1972, he attended Memorial University of Newfoundland and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Education degree in 1977. He completed a Master of Education degree from the University of Windsor in 1986. Kirk currently resides in Whitby, Ontario and is a teacher with the Durham District School Board.
