About the Authors
Betty Organ is originally from Bay D'Espoir, Newfoundland. However, she currently resides and works in St. John's, Newfoundland. Betty has worked with young children for several years as a Student Assistant. Betty has also dedicated much of her free time as a volunteer leader with Scouts Canada. My Newfoundland Counting Book is Betty's first published work and she looks forward an exciting and successful future in writing.
"My Newfoundland and Labrador Counting Book," is illustrated by Dana Carter. Dana grew up on the west coast of Newfoundland. He graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. Dana now works as a Dark Room Technician for a national newspaper and publisher. This is Dana's first book, and you will surely see more of his talent in the future!
