About the Authors
Lisa J. Ivany was born and raised in Gander, Newfoundland, Canada. She graduated from Gander Collegiate in June 1982. She furthered her studies in the Gander District Vocational School, successfully completing a stenography course in 1983.
She currently works full-time as a secretary in the Psychiatry Department of the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander. In addition, she works part-time as an orthopedic executive assistant.
Writing poetry and stories has always been a passion of Lisa's, although she laid this aside when she started in the workforce. Fifteen years later her enthusiasm for writing was rekindled. Since then she has written 22 short stories and over 100 poems, with several poems and three feature articles having been published. She received her diploma from the institute of Children's literature in 2002 for the successful completion of a course in writing for children and teens.
Robert J. Hunt was born and raised in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. He is married with two children and graduated from Holy Cross High School in June 1968. He completed his business course in private school in May of 1994 in St. John's, and is presently employed at the St. John's International Airport.
Bob's passion for writing began at an early age when, in high school, he enrolled in public speaking and writing short stories and essays. Except for a hiatus of perhaps five years, when his writing was relaxed, he has always maintained it to be his first love and as a tool not to be wasted.
This book has been a new adventure for Bob and his co-author in the world of published writing and hopes it will open new doors and create future opportunities.
