About the Author
Bruce Stagg is a teacher of English and Theatre Arts at Clarenville High School, in Clarenville, Newfoundland. For more than twenty years he has been writing and directing plays for high school production. He has published a book of plays and has won many awards for his work.
Bruce introduced readers to the fictitious town of Roaring Cove in A Segunda Vinda, A Roaring Cove Christmas Story published in 1993. In 1995 ten more Roaring Cove stories were released on tape and compact disc entitled Baloney Chunks and Gravy. Bruce has also written and performed Roaring Cove stories for both KIXX Country (CKIX) and CBC radio stations, and he often performs his stories for live audiences.
