The Newfoundland Poetry series was started in 1993 as Breakwater's
twentieth anniversary project to honor and preserve the literary talents of
Newfoundland and Labrador poets. Our aim is to make the series
affordable to as many lovers as possible. Boyd Warren Chubbs is from
L'Anse Au Clair, Labrador and presently lives I St. John's. This is his
second piece of work for the Newfoundland Poetry Series and continues
his exploration of the marriage of poetic and visual arts. His most recent
musical recording is a collection of original, solo guitar pieces, "Across
waters and Stones"(June 1998) and most recent visual art exhibition, "A
Land and Sea is beyond claim and discovery" (November 1998, Christian
Parker Gallery, St. John's). |
