Book Description Bentley, a distinguished vintage motorcar, is worn down by the troubles of everyday family life. He needs to recharge his batteries. He drives through the mountains and down to the sea. While relaxing on the shore, he meets a hump back whale. As he compares his troubles with those of the whale, he is able to put his worries into perspective. About the Authors For many years, Lisa Rae was an educator in both the English and French schools in Quebec as well as in British Columbia. She summered in Salvage, Bonavista Bay for over three decades before moving permanently in the summer of 2004. Now she spends her time on a variety of creative projects. She is married to Peter Pickersgill who illustrated this book. Peter Pickersgill is a writer, painter, cartoonist, architect and book illustrator. He was born in Ottawa in 1945 and first came to Newfoundland in 1953 where he discovered another universe. His columns and political cartoons appear in the Transcontinental newspapers of Newfoundland and Labrador.
